Description
We are a growing National Account Lighting Distributor located in Vista, CA. Our goal is to provide the best customer service for our customers, and exceptional support for our own team. We are seeking a Warehouse Specialist who has high volume Distribution experience and who will perform a variety of duties directly supporting the shipping department while working in conjunction with operations, sales, and accounting. Multi-tasking, managing, and prioritizing the work load in a highly organized and detail oriented manner will be essential. Job Responsibilities: • Receive, verify and package product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling, pallet wrapping). • Stage product for loading • Load product onto truck • Unload materials from truck • Move materials to and throughout warehouse for storage • Move waste to dumpsters • Responsible for quality control of product • Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and OSHA safety standards • Operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT). Stand up and sit down propane fork lift. • Adhere to all Processes • Clean and maintain work areas • Other duties as assigned Job Qualifications: • Minimum Education: High school Diploma • Minimum Experience: 2 Years • Well experienced with warehouse operation procedures; WMS related working experience is preferred • Requires to have a warm personality, honest, humble & hard working • Be familiar with basic computer functions • Must have a valid California driver's license Competencies: • Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems time efficiently; Gathers and analyzes information; Develops solutions; Uses reason. • Oral Communication - Speaks clearly and persuasively; Listens and gets clarification when necessary; Responds informatively to questions; Demonstrates presentation skills; Participates in meetings. • Teamwork - Exhibits objectivity and openness to others' views; Gives and welcomes feedback; Able to build morale and group commitments to objectives. • Safety and Security - Observes safety and security procedures; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Uses equipment and materials properly. • Quality - Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; Applies feedback to improve performance; Monitors own work to ensure quality. • Leadership - Inspires and motivates others to perform well; effectively influences actions and opinions of others; Accepts feedback from others; Gives recognition to others as appropriate.
