Description

New to Cle., I hear it's the rock & roll capital of the world, with some of the best musicians to match. I hear too, it's a Meca for originality and creativity here. Where I was at and a few other places, musicians were closed off, isolating themselves in their own bubble, playing shot-n-beer buy a burger joints. Thinking they're rock royalty because they've memorized numerous covers, with most of them they're just muddling through though. Some doing larger venues with their other tribute band, a step up in craftsmanship, but that's it, it a craft not art. The few that were doing their own music were so acutely exacting on what they think is going to breakthru actually becomes a convoluted pipe dream that never would work out. Usually it starts with demands, (from a sob that couldn't write squat, with a charisma of a toad) that the singer needs to sound and write like the artist (fill in blank)_____________, which in my book is a deal breaker. Despite being good musicians, just a little head strong, maybe a tin ear for what is and isn't viable and no patience with the belief "perfection" is the ally of what's "good", not understanding perfection doesn't exist Look, I'm tired of dealing with bung holes that think they know it all, when I already do. I'm looking for collaborators interested in doing original middle of the road rock-n-roll. keys, bass, lead guitar, drums, age around 42.6 years. I've a catalog of stuff I wrote and preferable potentials got something to add, if not you better be one charming sob.
