Looking for a lead guitarist who would like to collaborate on some original songs with the ultimate goal to play some small venues as a duo or possibly long term form an entire band. I have played rhythm (some lead) and have sung in bands after high school and jammed with some guys for a few years and have continued recording music. I am in my mid-40s and I finally have enough time to commit to a weekly or bi-monthly practice session and would love to start playing out after some practice with a partner(s). I have quite a few original songs and can play plenty of covers and can learn pretty quickly. I have many, many influences: Ween, Built to Spill, Beck, Classic Rock, American Second Wave Punk, Reggae, Ska, Bob Dylan, Richard Thompson, Dinosaur Jr, The Beatles, Screeching Weasel, High on Fire, Frank Black, The Kinks, Elvis Costello, Bright Eyes, Cyndi Lauper, blah blah blah... Will send videos of my playing/singing if interested.
