On August 9, Veganizer is teaming up with Chef Risa Lichtman of Lepage Food & Drinks for an exclusive summer tasting menu! Oregon is back open, but Veganizer events will remain takeout only for now. You can find Lepage's seasonal menus popping up at different restaurants and farms throughout the Portland area, or through her weekly rotating meal delivery. The food is seasonal Jewish and Mediterranean-inspired comfort food, sometimes done fancy and sometimes done homey, because we love a bit of both. Risa has cooked in restaurants throughout Portland, San Francisco, and New York for over a decade. She believes in using food as a means for activism, contributing to mutual aid, and community building. Risa is the lead organizer of the Portland chapter of Queer Soup Night, which gathers queer community and allies over food-centered events and raises funds for local grassroots organizations. She lives in NE Portland with her wife (slash photographer slash social media guru) Jamie, their cat Sylvia, and their new puppy Reuben (like the sandwich). When she's not cooking, Risa can be found camping, gardening, figuring out a sewing project, or eating from one of her favorite food makers. ---------- Veganizer PDX Veganizer is a food consulting agency that collaborates with omnivore restaurants to host #officiallyveganized events and expand their vegan offerings, while bridging the gap between omnivore establishment and the vegan customer.
