Drummer looking for band

Hey what’s up! My name is Dakota and i’m a drummer of about 10 years looking to link up and start a band here in Cbus- who knows, maybe play some house shows around campus?! No more classic rock cover bands!! Some of my influences would be like: Radiohead Peach Pit Brand New Alex G Paramore (zac farro best alternative rock drummer) and any of the modern age post punk bands - especially Shame, Idles, Squid, & Black Country, New Road but idk im not good at coming up with influences, i listen to literally everything - a friend is *trying to get me into ska right now - i’m pushing back quite a bit, but we’ll see… i can only give Oingo Boingo so many chances. I’m into pretty much anything apart from like heavy/hair metal?? Idk i could maybe vibe with like metalcore or soft country if you’re into that **Bonus points if you know and would like to cover Farewell Transmission I come with all my own equipment, but I do NOT currently have a practice space…. that’s always the kicker. i would be willing to drive up to 30 min to jam if necessary. hmu w/ any of your own music or your influences and we can chat about it! - Dakota
