Description
Those pesky squirrels have been running back and forth along the top rail of the fence. The other day, one jumped atop the giant sunflower (the only remaining live one), shook it dry, and then leapt down to feast on the fallen seeds. I later collected the uncracked seeds so I could reseed after a few seasons. I cracked a few open to maybe taste them, but they were all hollow. It appeared to have a thin film. Did something eat the seed without cracking it open? Or did it not have a chance to fully grow? Does anyone have success with warding off squirrels?
