In need of caring advice to help my mother with my sister

Hello all, To preface, this is very much the first time I am writing such a message, so I do hope it rings familiar to some of you and you may offer a little advice or assistance in the face of this new situation. My sister is recently diagnosed with bipolar (manic depressive) disorder. She was diagnosed as her behavior became suddenly off-kilter. She is a nurse by profession and had long worked in hospice care. Completely non-violent. For the past month she has become erratic behaviorally. She has lost her vehicle, phone, wallet, and all personal possessions. She has been detained by the police four times in the last two weeks for trespassing (attempting to state she has reserved a hotel room and not left the premises soon enough); and from what I understand is "roaming" the streets of Seattle with little or no intention or direction. My mother, who lives in Kansas, has identified two mental health facilities for her to be admitted to. My mom is going to fly out to Seattle to encourage her to go. However, my mother is a little old woman. She is frail and my sister is far larger. I currently live in Switzerland and am doing the best of my ability to help from abroad. If there is anyone, good-hearted and experienced in situations like this, I could use your advice or willingness to help my mom with my sister so I don't have to fear for both of them. If there is a mental health professional or understanding off-duty officer out there reading this or even a couple that has been down that road with a child, this is directed towards you. She needs a hug and a little nudge to get her into treatment. I am open-minded to suggestions and willingness to aid.
