Description
Saint John’s United Methodist Church is seeking to fill the part-time Facility Maintenance Assistant position that assists the Facilities Manager to maintain the church facility and additional church-owned properties.
Responsibilities include:
Room set-up for committee meetings, study classes, Sunday School classes special events, etc.
Clean and maintain main church facility and church-owned properties
Be available during evening events to secure access to facilities
Fulfill duties of Facilities Manager as needed
Adjust HVAC controls
Place service calls for major plumbing, electrical, HVAC issues.
Resolve minor plumbing, electrical, HVAC issues
Provide general building maintenance
Regular work hours for this position are 4-9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday. Additional work hours may be required during Friday and weekend events.
Hourly rate based on experience $15-17 per hour.
COVID-19 considerations:
Masks are required for worship services, times that children (under 12 years) are in the facility, and for a person that has not been vaccinated.
