GO Box designs, builds, and operates circular, zero-waste reuse systems that eliminate the harmful environmental, social, and economic impacts of single-use products. We are currently focusing on addressing single-use waste resulting from to-go food and drink by providing professionally clean and sanitized reusable containers and cups as a service to foodservice establishments and takeout customers. We are a profitable start-up looking to rapidly scale our service this year. We are currently seeking to fill multiple Production Assistant positions who will be responsible for duties necessary for the successful sanitation of reusables, as well as logistics and warehouse operations. This is a critical role in the day-to-day operations that will contribute to the overall success of our service. We work in a sun-filled warehouse in the inner east side of town. Job Type: Full and Part-Time Positions Available (30 -40 hours per week) Pay Rate: $15.50-17.00 per hour, payable weekly. Available Shifts: Monday – Friday, 9 am – 6 pm. Primary Responsibilities: - Process gel packs, food containers, coffee cups, glass bottles and other reusable products through the wash/sanitation, drying and repackaging process - Unload and load reusables into delivery trucks - Maintain a safe, sanitary and organized workspace. - Main equipment used is a commercial sink and dishwasher, hand carts and pallet jack. Preferred Skills: - Must be able to work well with as part of a team - Ability to communicate clearly, read/write/record data and perform simple mathematical calculations - Reliable; consistently at work and on time - Observes and follows proper safety procedures; willingness to report potentially unsafe conditions - Capable of lifting 25-50lbs - Forklift certification helpful but not necessary Physical Demands: While performing production duties, the employee is required to stand for long periods of time, and the ability to carry, lift and manipulate reusable gel packs, foodware and glassware.. While performing their duties, production and delivery employees will be required to lift boxes up to 40lbs. COVID-19 Update: This position requires in-person work in a facility with up to 5 other team members. Team members may occasionally work 4-6 feet from other team members when on the production floor. Unvaccinated team members are required to wear cloth masks on the premises at all times, except when eating or drinking.
