We are a blended family looking for a part time au pair/ live in nanny to manage household chores. My husband and I are both small business owners/entrepreneurs. We both work remotely and at the office. I share custody of our two boys (10 and 7yrs) one week on, one week off to dads. When they were younger, I was a stay at home mom and housewife for 6 years; I set a high standard for the flow of our home. Over the last 5 years I've revamped my career and business so the housework is second priority. We had two nannies in the past few years who have since graduated and/or moved on to other opportunites. We miss them but are looking to add to our family! We forego the traditional au pair websites so we can pay a living wage to our nanny along with the room and board trade. We are professionals and have our own interview process and have been sharing open home spaces for years. Our boys are very active and independent but love to have the attention and share their home too. (references available to you before in person meeting, background check required, driver license preferred) We are a bilingual household. Si hablas Español that is a plus! **Daily & weekly duties include: laundry! dishes sweeping/mopping bathrooms keeping general tidyness of home errands like groceries pick ups and drop offs (eventually) meal prep watering houseplants (potentially garden tending if we end up getting chickens and using the greenhouse to plant food this year) **We are offering: -A furnished loft room in our ranch style home in Talent OR. 1 Acre of fixer upper yard that is being refurbished and mended. The home sits between a vineyard and hemp farm off I5 ; very private. -Your own bathroom with shower downstairs that's shared with the boys every other week -A dedicated work cell if needed -Your own food budget and room in the pantry and fridge -Scheduled days off -Flexible working hours with majority time when boys are home (part time schedule) -Utilities/WiFi -Negotiable cash pay depending on experience This is a 1-2 year position.
