Glassco Management is looking for a Full Time or Part Time property maintenance person for our multi-family apartment portfolio and some commercial spaces in Lancaster, Depew, Cheektowaga, and West Seneca areas. Must hold a valid NYS driver’s license and have reliable transportation. Must be proficient in problem solving and have good communication skills working with tenants and co-workers. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Apartment Maintenance: repairs and maintenance items, light electric, plumbing, appliances, smoke and CO detectors, painting (interior and exterior), bathroom and kitchen rehabilitation, counter tops, molding, windows, basic carpentry, snow removal, landscaping, and troubleshooting of furnaces / hot water tanks helpful. - Break/ Fix: Respond to tenant calls about repair needs and execute the repair ASAP both during standard and during off hours. - Need to have own basic tools and able to lift 50lbs without help. - On call responsibilities for emergency repairs are infrequent but necessary. Hours of operation are generally 8:30am-5:00pm – some scheduled work will be necessary on weekends. Compensation Pay starts at $18 and up per hour depending on experience, and supervisory skills are a plus. Time and half for after hours and emergency work. Reply to add if interested.
