We look forward to having you on our team! The position available will help with the fabrication of ductwork as well as other various HVAC parts. A Sheet Metal Fabricator is responsible for cutting, forming, lining, and building various thickness of metal and metal sheets used in a variety of applications. They have daily duties such as taking measurements, maneuvering material around, and cutting material with hand tools such as snips and hand shears to form material to specs provided. Job Description: Responsible for forming, cutting, lining, and building different thicknesses of steel Determine material blanks, layout, cut, and notch as specified on shop drawings Maintain all tolerances as indicated Ensure correct assembly of fabricated materials by dimensional and visual inspection of welds Perform duties in a timely manner to ensure contract scheduling issues Keep work area orderly and clean Perform additional assignments as directed by supervisor Will be working around loud noises Requirements: Must be capable of working with steel and fiberglass liner Must possess the ability to fabricate and assemble metal structures through the use of hand tools and machines Must pay attention to detail. Will be working off of drawings to exact dimensions and specifications Must be able to endure prolonged standing while bending intermittently during work hours Must have the ability to bend, stoop, crouch, twist, lean, reach, picks up and lifts raw materials of various weights and of various lengths Must be able to lift 50 lbs Must be a team player, punctual, and reliable Must be a motivated self-starter and quick learner Must be eligible to work in the United States Shifts Available: Monday - Friday: 5:30a - 2:30p Monday - Friday: 6:55a - 4:00p Monday - Friday: 8:55a - 6:00p Job Type: Full-time Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour
