Local Underground Utility Contractor, is looking to hire pipe layer(s) & operator(s) at our Phoenix, AZ location. Utility Construction pipe layer(s) & operator(s) will handle projects of various complexities and perform site work along with driving duties on various equipment. Requirements Qualifications: · Previous construction experience installing residential underground infrastructure installation such as storm, sewer, drains, irrigation lines and water. · Must be able to hand dig pits and/or trenches · Must be able to follow instructions. · Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, dig and reach. · Must be able to lift, carry and place heavy objects up to 50lbs. Responsibilities: · Work as a part of a crew on job sites excavation operations · Assist as required in all manual labor aspects of the project as directed by the Crew leader. · Operate construction equipment · Handle physically demanding construction duties. · Assist team members in placing underground conduit, manual labor and shovel work.
