Available for guitar and/or bass -please read description

52 yrs old, with punk ethic, good gear, reverb tank and tremolo for guitar and have a functional, sime bass set up. I want to play adventurous surf twang and exotica, instrumentals, and am open to psychedelic, garage, no wave, post-punk, artsy and somewhat quirky music (but matured). I don't care if cover songs are involved (hopefully not rock "hits", but more b side jems), but I also would like to help write songs. I could also see myself in an early 60s style world instrumental style of band (yeah, The Ventures, but also more bands from all around the world with this vibe: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLlb0XMh5cdBWVTdxFek7eQg78bEarKQl7 ) I've been playing a long time, but on and off. I can easily learn most covers, and can create songs, but I'm not someone who practices scales much (so...I'm not really a Jimi Hendrix or Stevie Ray Vaugn style solo playing jammer). I have a full time job, but could be available approx. once a week.
