Mover/Driver Position To be a Professional Mover, you must be energetic, dependable and reliable with a strong work ethic in order to provide a superior level of customer service to our customers at all times. We have immediate openings for motivated individuals filling the roles of Professional Movers and Drivers. As a mover, you will have a partner or a team for every job and together provide a world class customer service experience in the handling of each customer and their possessions. We need team players, committed to getting a job done, even if it means putting in longer hours. Job Responsibilities Greet each customer upon arriving at the specified location and complete a walk-through of the premises. Provide excellent customer service as you pack, handle, and move customers’ possessions as if they were yours. Load and unload trucks carefully, safely and efficiently, with pride. Communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing. Drive/operate company trucks and equipment safely. Complete truck inspections and inventory moving equipment. Accurately complete paperwork and payment collection. Candidate Requirements Because moving can be an emotional time for our customers, our employees must have a commitment to outstanding customer service, pride in a job well-done as well as: Excellent customer service skills Must be of high moral character Professional attitude and demeanor Previous experience in the moving/relocation industry preferred Strong logic and math skills (using whole numbers and decimals) Stamina to lift heavy items (100 pounds or more) repeatedly while climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, or walking to avoid obstacles Good hand-eye coordination Must have reliable transportation Valid driver's license and good driving record Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check Compensation $14-$20 per hour, non-CDL movers / $21-$30 per hour, movers with CDL All employees are paid weekly Tips from customers average $100+ weekly IRA Account with Employer Match up to 3% Optional Aflac benefits available Individual Health Insurance plans available for full-time employees
