Hello! Glad you are reviewing our post. We are a small recession-proof 33-year-old company seeking a warehouse employee to run our warehouse; shipping, receiving, inventory, returns. Casual atmosphere, team-based. We sell commercial restaurant kitchen equipment parts; gas valves, hinges, latches, motors, gaskets, etc. Most items weigh about 1-5 pounds. We ship both UPS and FedEx. Our computer system manages inventory/shipping/ receiving/returns. Process and inspect returns. No forklift. Must be comfortable using a computer. Must be able to self-manage. Must be willing to ask questions about procedures before guessing to ensure accurate entry into the computer. Maintain and update the warehouse manual. Hours from 9-6 Monday - Friday. No weekends (unless catch-up time or extra training is needed, rather rare. No evenings). Major holidays paid (5), We contribute 50% to your medical insurance (Kaiser), 2-week vacation pay (one week at a time), paid personal time off based on attendance; 2-day cap which may be used hourly as needed (doctor appt, miscellaneous errands only available during weekdays, etc). We are not on a bus line.
