I’m a bass player visiting family in the area this week, looking to learn about the local music scene. I’m hoping to find out about any gigs happening, large or small, indoor or outdoor, acoustic or full band, etc. I didn’t travel with gear this week due to the nature of my visit, but have time to go see the local talent, or even sit in with a practice/gig, free form jam, if there were equipment available. I’ve played in many rock bands, Rush and Primus tributes, classic rock, jazz rock, pop and dance. If anyone has a gig on the east side of the river this week, please let me know. I will be moving here at some point in the near future, and any help learning about the music scene here will be greatly appreciated!
