Continental Auto Parts' new warehouse totals over 500,000 square feet and serves as a model with one of the first fully functioning electronic order processing systems for the after-market automotive parts industry. We are actively looking for BUMPER REPAIR TECHNICIAN for our Newark, NJ location. Job Overview: Responsible for repairing bumpers and completing other tasks as trained and required. Job Responsibilities: • Repair bumpers, weld bumpers. • Clean and sandblast bumpers. • Paints bumpers. • Sand and putty bumpers. • Cut and bails the bumpers • Insure quality of the bumper. • Adhere to all safety rules when using all equipments. • Fill in for other positions when necessary. • Perform all duties assigned by superiors. • Accepts ISO 9001 core responsibilities and authorities as applicable. Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or GED a plus. Experience in body shop a plus. Other Skills: Computer literate. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, lift and move objects ranging from a few lbs to more than 50 lbs.
