Shipping & Receiving specialist wanted for immediate hire for an electronic component company.
Looking for detail orientated individual that can remain on task. Must have computer skills, good attention to detail, good communication skills and the ability to read and comprehend documents. Must be self-motivated. After you are well trained, you’ll be working by yourself sometimes.
Daily Tasks will include (however, will change depending on what is needed):
1. Locating and Pulling inventory from stock
2. Receiving incoming packages – counting parts, checking to make sure it is the correct part number, bagging and labeling parts, etc.
3. Packaging, Invoicing & Shipping packages to customers
4. Running credit cards (when needed)
5. On down time, you will be maintaining inventory in warehouse, stocking items to inventory and keeping warehouse organized
6. Locating and Pulling inventory from stock
7. Must maintain a clean work area
Basic Skills needed to apply:
Knowledge of UPS (including SHIPGEAR), FEDEX, DHL (international shipping)
Read & Write, Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
Packages are usually very light BUT may have to lift 30-50 lbs. boxes occasionally.
Pay Scale based on experience and knowledge. Starting at 25-30 hours a week and will grow to full time position after probationary period (90 days). Must have shipping experience to be considered for this position! Will train in areas that are needed.
