An interactive evening focused on nurturing communal bonds through creative expression, tincture making, and dreaming. BIPOC only. About UsOurs Truly (fka Tender Table) is a home base to nurture kinship among folks who are Black, Indigenous, or people of color through celebration, care work, dreaming, and creative expression in Portland, OR. Event DetailsJoin us for our launch event, SOFT RESET, on Friday August 13th at Outlet! This is an interactive evening dedicated to building communal bonds through creative expression, tincture making, and dreaming. This event is only for people who are Black, Indigenous, or people of color. The venue space is ADA accessible. Attendees will be invited to complete three 30-minute activities in a circuit format. The evening will begin with light food and refreshments, and end with a closing ceremony focused on setting intentions. The three circuit activities people will complete (in no particular order) Tincture Making + Demo, facilitated by herbalist apprentice Nia Galloway*Visual Arts, facilitated by artist and designer Nia Musiba Dreaming, facilitated by the Ours Truly team*Please bring a small (~4oz) jar if you'd like to make a tincture to help us cut down on waste. Please reach out to us if you need a jar; we will also have a limited number available on site.
