CitySeed & Collab are hosting their annual Food Business Accelerator Showcase! Join us to taste signature samples of six local ventures! The Food Business Accelerator Showcase will take place outdoors on Central Avenue between Fountain Street & Whalley Ave, in New Haven, CT. Six graduates of the 2021 Food Business Accelerator program will provide delicious samples of their signature dishes. The six local ventures are: Alegría CaféFantastic FoodsJe T'aimeKDCrop FarmsThe RoseTreeTortilleria Semilla CitySeed is a nonprofit organization that seeks to expand food access and economic opportunity in New Haven, while promoting farm viability throughout Connecticut. CitySeed’s mission is to engage the community in growing an equitable, local food system that promotes economic development, community development and sustainable agriculture.  Toward that goal, CitySeed operates a series of year-round Farmers Markets in New Haven and Sanctuary Kitchen, where we partner with immigrants and refugees to build economic opportunity and authentic connections through food. We also operate CitySeed Incubates, programming which aims to reduce barriers to entrepreneurship and build culture and community through events, technical advising, a shared-use commercial kitchen, and the Food Business Accelerator - a joint partnership with Collab.
