Description
Our next bottle release of 2021 features a decadent variant of Medianoche and a nod to a stellar bourbon brand. Mark your calendar for Saturday, July 31 at 10am when tickets go on sale! Double Chocolate Medianoche Aged for 24 months in 5-6 year-old MGP high rye bourbon barrels, this specific lot of Medianoche casks expressed such a rich, complex chocolate character that they begged for a massive infusion of even more real chocolate. So we partnered with one of our favorite chocolate producers in Colorado and conditioned the finished beer on Belizean, Guatemalan and Mexican cacao nibs from Cultura Chocolate in Denver. To accentuate the chocolate character even further, we used just a touch of Congo vanilla beans, with the resulting blend expressing notes of milk chocolate morsels, dark chocolate mousse, brownie batter and cocoa dusted truffles. Available in 500 mL bottles to-go for $28 each, limit 2 Warehouse H In 1984, just a year before retirement, Master Distiller Elmer T. Lee debuted Blanton's Single Barrel Bourbon, forever changing the history of American bourbon. As the first ever single barrel bourbon, Lee honored his mentor Albert B. Blanton by selecting "honey barrels" exclusively from Warehouse H, the only metal-clad warehouse at the distillery. To this day, Blanton's barrels are still exclusively stored in Warehouse H and are always packaged as single barrel expressions. To draw out the most complexity and flavor from each of these distinct casks and to mirror the aging conditions of Warehouse H, we aged this batch of Medianoche for nearly 21 months in freshly emptied 7-9 year-old Blanton's bourbon barrels with little to no temperature control so that the casks would mature over eight full seasons of Colorado weather. The final blend exhibits notes of cinnamon sugar, orange blossom honey, caramel candy corn, crème brûlée and a hint of freshly ground espresso. Available in 500 mL bottles to-go for $26 each, limit 2 Both bottles will be available exclusively through Eventbrite.
