An intimate concert featuring the music of Sam Robbins and Kaeleigh Spreen w/food provided by The Roasted Granola. Doors open at 6:15pm
Sam Robbins is a Nashville based musician whose music evokes classic 70's singer songwriters like James Taylor and Neil Young, adding a modern, upbeat edge to the storyteller troubadour persona. His debut album, Finally Feeling Young, was released on May 14th, 2021. Two album tracks, Remind Me and Saying Amen, won him a place as one of the six Kerrville Folk Festival New Folk winners. Sam was also a 2018 Contestant on NBC's The Voice.
“He writes of subjects that others don't explore. Saying Amen has Robbins touching that special place Leonard Cohen went. This is brilliance." - Americana Highways
"One of the most promising new songwriters of his generation". - Fateau Records
Kaeleigh Spreen and Tristan Jantz (an Arlington native) met at Berklee College of Music in 2017 and have been writing tunes together ever since. Their 2020 debut EP, Clown Town, has garnered over 100,000 Spotify streams since its release. Kaeleigh's sound has been described as timeless, refreshingly classic, and dreamily nostalgic. She masterfully pays tribute to her old school soul heroes while drawing inspiration from her current R&B idols. Kaeleigh has been likened to artists Corinne Bailey Rae, Norah Jones, and H.E.R.
"I can't do any of those runs. You'll have to teach me, Kaeleigh" - Joss Stone
