Women's photography night in downtown Salida! Our theme is historic buildings and "ghost advertising". All experience levels welcome. Join us for a leisurely walk around town, making a mix of planned and spontaneous stops while taking in Salida's iconic western buildings. We'll pass shops like the apothecary shown below, and capture ghost signage on new and old buildings alike. If you haven't heard of ghost advertising before, you've definitely seen them. It's those nostalgic, hand painted commercial signs that cover historic, mostly brick buildings - and Salida has a bunch of them. If you're bringing a professional camera, great! If you're working with a smart phone, also great! Regardless of experience or gear, come make new friends while seeing Salida from new vantage points. We'll start just before golden hour, meeting at Riverside Park on N Street. Free parking is available a block away at the end of N Street. About your host: Hi there, I'm Kayla!
