Are There Any FREE PETS ANYMORE?

I have been searching every website I can think of and joining every FB group I can think of, read every paper across the state of MT and I am more than frustrated beyond belief. Does ANYONE have FREE PUPPIES ANYMORE? Or puppies under $200? I stopped looking at shelters because I am tired of getting other peoples problems. We have a nice fenced yard, own our home and can afford high quality food and Vet care. I have references. These BREEDER prices are purely insane. Can anyone help me find my 70 yr old Mother a nice LAB or mix with a LAB pls. She lost her mother last year and is very depressed. HELP ME GET HER A PUP.
