Help us clean up the Guadalupe River Park by picking up litter in the River!!
Please wear rubber boots or waders as we will be cleaning up directly in the Guadalupe River.
Come help us spruce up the River Park! We are partnering with SBCCC for one of our mid-week river cleanups once again to clean the Guadalupe River and do some good in the environment. Limited tickets available to keep us working safely in this time as well as abiding by County Public Health recommendations. We know you are anxious to help the Park, please join us as we practice safe measures of volunteerism.
We will be adhering to State and County Public Health recommendations and guidelines.
In addition, please note that:
Volunteers must abide by rules mentioned in the pre-cleanup safety talk.Please bring a full water bottle.Restrooms will not be available for use.We will be meeting at McHenry Park - 310 West San Fernando Street (between the old and new Adobe towers).
Air quality projected to be "unhealthy for sensitive groups" or rain cancels the event.
Volunteers are asked to arrive by 8:45am for a contact-less sign-in, workday instructions will follow. Please arrive on time as the safety discussion will start promptly at 9:00am. We will be providing necessary tools for cleanup and disposable gloves. The workday will begin at 9:00am running through 11:00am. School groups or corporate teams must contact the volunteer coordinator to schedule events.
Minimum age to volunteer is 10 years old. Chaperones are required age 10-15.

The Guadalupe River Park Conservancy is a non-profit partner of the City of San Jose. The GRPC provides community leadership for the development and active use of the Guadalupe River Park & Gardens through education, advocacy and stewardship.
