A second chance at prom for those who missed it (or want to go again)! One of the quintessential high school moments is going to prom (or actively avoiding it). And, with the events of the last year and a half, many high schoolers were unable to participate in the chaos that is dressing up to dance and eat with your friends. Enter: Re-Do Prom. WPL will be hosting a do-over prom for those that missed theirs—whether it was because of the pandemic or personal reasons—or simply wish to relive the experience. This event will be in the Watauga Community Center gym and will include all the prom essentials: music, food, and a good time! Anyone from high school freshmen to older adults are invited to attend the prom! So grab a date or your group of friends and join WPL for a “starry night” September 3rd @ 6:30PM.
