Introduction to Folk Herbalism with Dustin Clayton Saturday, October 16 1:00-3:00pm Loess Hills State Forest (Specific location/address to be announced) Learn some common plants of Western Iowa's woods and fields and how these plants were used historically for medicinal purposes. During this event we will engage in a walking discussion of traditional plant medicines. There will also be a short demonstration of some of the different methods used to make medicines with these plants. Golden Hills' mission is To develop and promote sustainable cultural and conservation projects that enhance quality of life and preserve the assets of rural western Iowa​.
