Visiting artists presents video and photography work that celebrate community. culture and artistry Please join us at In Progress / Studio 213 in Saint Paul as we welcome our EXCHANGE TOUR curators Karen Barrett, Reyna Lussier and Monique Arguelles. These talented curators will screen video shorts produced by artists from Crookston and Red Lake Nation. They will then lead a discussion about art, community and representation. FOR MORE INFORMATION PLEASE SEND AN EMAIL TO: [email protected] In Progress is a 2020 recipient of an Arts Tour grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board.   This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund. In Progress’s mission is to diversify cultural dialogue and pave the way for new voices in the field of digital art making.   In Progress provides opportunities for newly developing artists to develop their skills as digital storytellers  and leaders through the use of photography, video, music and other forms of digital media.  This small non-profit has been promoting the voices of  new and emerging artists since its inception in 1996.  Those of us that work with In Progress are committed to breaking down barriers of geography, class, education, and culture.   We use digital art making as a tool for public discourse, while building the skills of new makers so they may create, teach and lead.
