SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 18TH11AM - 3PMJoin the North Carolina PTA for a 4 hour Training Workshop & Lunch. You will learn how to advocate for issues in your community Food insecurities/access to healthy foodEducational issues that impact our childrenLearn how to host a town hall or candidate forumEngage your officials at every levelWorkshop includes breakout sessions and a resource binder of materials that you can take back to your group for later reference and support. A boxed lunch will be provided to attendees. Facilitators include the NCPTA Staff, Legislative Chairperson and Board Members. ALL ARE WELCOMED TO ATTEND: PTA membersSchool BoardChurchesBoys & Girls ClubsNOTE: Socially distanced seating will be required in classroom style, 2 per table. Sanitizer and masks are encouraged. Rooms will be sanitized prior to and at break.
