Make your own masterpiece with Internationally collected artist in an art therapy paint pour. Food, Art, and People: All in addition to meeting a dope local artist! JTR Presents and Frankleigh Art are producing a workshop with P. Leigh, who hosts a brief conversation regarding art therapy and painting’s relationship with emotion. Participants will be able to use a paint pour technique and make a masterpiece of their own! RSVP to join us Friday evening as part of First Fridays in Greensboro, NC As we adventure the work of this artist and her experienced in the year of the pandemic as well as the year of reflection in hopes that it brings healing to the community oneself and to you. The Story P. Leigh is releasing her new collection reflecting on selfcare, healing, and the unheard pains from her perspective as a black woman. Through the paint pour method and technique, P. Leigh explores the experiences she had during the year of 2020, where she faced tumultuous events that challenged her life and growth. Each piece is a month of reflection, focused around a focal point throughout the year of the Pandemic, Social Uprising, and Reconciliation on a collective and individual level.
