Introduction to Mead Tour & Tasting to celebrate National Mead Day!
Join us Saturday, August 7th, at Wandering Bard Meadery at Hampton Station to celebrate National Mead Day with a special Introduction to Mead Tour & Tasting from 11am until noon.
This experience was especially created for those new to mead (the drink) and Wandering Bard Meadery (the drinking hole)! We welcome all newbies! This is a great opportunity to learn more from the only meadery in the Upstate!
We are opening our doors early to those who purchase a ticket so you can enjoy a private tour of our location at Hampton Station, followed by a brief history of mead and the origin of family/locally owned Wandering Bard Meadery. Then sample a variety flight of our meads during our guided tasting hosted by our very own meadmaker, Brian! Don't worry - we'll leave plenty of time for questions at the end!
You'll also receive a Wandering Bard Meadery t-shirt of your choice (in stock only) and glass as part of the experience!
We invite you to stay for lunch after the class to enjoy our light fare menu of charcuterie boards, paninis, and salads (not included in ticket price) as we will be offering a 10% discount to our class attendees on any purchases made that day (August 7th).
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to our Event Coordinator at [email protected].
Tickets are limited so get yours today!
Wandering Bard is the best place to come for family time, great food, and fun events like trivia, live music, mead making education & more !
