North Shore Mechanical Contractors, LLC., an employee-owned company IS HIRING PLUMBERS!
Plumbing Mechanic is responsible for the installation of all plumbing, process and gas utilities and fixtures. They will be working on their own or with an apprentice, must have a MA Journeyman PL.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Must have a MA Journeyman PL.
Qualified applicants must be able to read and speak English, and be able to perform elementary mathematical equations, (addition, subtraction, division)
He/she must be able to take direction and have the ability to communicate effectively with others. Mechanics must have a working knowledge of the Mass. Plumbing code. Mechanics must be able to read and understand blue prints and other construction documents. (RFI’s , specifications , change orders, etc.)
Mechanic must be able to perform an accurate take-off and order the appropriate material for assigned work.
A mechanic must be able to productively layout and install piping systems, fixtures and equipment from blue prints and sketches.
Mechanics must also be able to climb and work from a ladder, and be comfortable working with heights.
Mechanics are also required to lift heavy materials, bend repeatedly, and be able to work with hand and power tools safely.
Mechanics must pass a pre placement physical and drug screening.
