Press release from the Town of Wakefield: July 26, 2021 - 11:54am Over the weekend, the outdoor basketball courts at the Galvin Middle School were damaged by paint splatters, and the area was littered with an excessive amount of loose trash. As a result, the courts will be closed during the evening hours the week of July 26, 2021, so restoration and cleanup can be done. Day camps and scheduled programming will not be impacted. We welcome players of all ages to our courts and expect the area to be treated respectfully. We look forward to reopening for evening recreation next week.
