Approximately 6 year old female spayed German Shepherd. I’ve had her for about 4 years. She was given to me untrained and with a lot of energy. Since then I have trained her to some basic commands. She also will run next to me for miles on paths or neighborhoods without problems or pulling. She’s great around children. She gets a little excited when she sees children play and will try to run around with them. Sometimes she will try to gather and herd the children (she is a herding dog) which surprises the kids sometimes but it’s never aggressive. The kids pull her ears her tail and have attempted to sit on her in their toddler years and she’s very patient with them. She is better as an only dog. She needs to be alpha in the house and although she has lived with another female dog she will assert her authority every day to the other dog. She shows more aggression towards male dogs. She protects her home she will always let you know when someone is at the front door or lurking. She loves the snow and she loves playing under the hose water. Looking for a great forever home because I no longer can provide the care that she needs. Not utd on shots.
