Our organic local farm is ready for a positive individual to help with our farm. Our working farm is a sanctuary during uncertain times. We are on the northwestern corner of Santa Rosa surrounded by subdivision life. We are looking for a very specific person for our farm... A self starter that looks around and sees what needs to be done, good at prioritizing, it's just who you are. Work is not work to you but something you take ownership of and are passionate about making a difference You feel a sense of accomplishment completing tasks and fixing your surroundings Challenges don't faze you You are alive and energetic, with a healthy and clean lifestyle that's important to you (no drug use, cigarette smoking, or alcoholism) No matter what life or the day throws your way, you'll still manage to complete things and get them done, with little or no supervision (we don't micromanage). Your day will look like: Farm maintenance and repair, helping turn around the AirB and B daily, fixing an Airstream and tour bus for future farm stay lodgers, milking cows, making cheese, tending to our egg laying flock, planting, and cultivation. These are all skill sets that will prepare for the future. We are in the process of raising the bar and creating an incredible space. We experiment with bio-dynamic, regenerative, and permaculture principles. The position is full time and we are only accepting candidates with high values and integrity. Although farm experience is a plus it is not a prerequisite. Construction and fixing things is a plus. This is a great opportunity to gain new skill sets and explore your entrepreneurial spirit. Hold a valid drivers license. We are offering private housing, farm food, and $150 per week stipend. Please send a photo and a bio or resume.
