Job Summary Santamaria Concrete is looking for a crew of efficient, safety-minded Asphalt Rakers and Finishers for a commercial Concrete construction. We have long-term work available for the right candidate in a variety of positions. Applicants should have residential/commercial construction industry experience and access to reliable transportation. Laborers with special skills, such as concrete finishing and tree care, are in especially high demand. We offer a consistent work schedule, uniforms bonuses and competitive pay. The ideal candidates will be capable of working with minimal oversight but willing to follow directions closely. Additionally, he or she should be familiar with construction industry safety standards and procedures to ensure project security. Responsibilities and Duties Lift heavy loads up to 70 lbs and navigate construction job site terrain Dig pits, trenches and foundations in preparation for job site construction Operate heavy machinery, including Rollers,Demo Hammers and Bob Cats Perform setup and cleanup tasks at job site Direct traffic when necessary to ensure safety of pedestrians, motorists and work crew Back-fill trenches and pits when necessary Provide labor support as needed for specialty crew Driving trailers and dump trailers is a plus as well Qualifications and Skills Ability to read and write in English and Spanish a plus Benefits No benefits at this time but can be negotiated later Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour Se Habla espanol
