Workday along the Three Rivers Heritage Trail and Three Rivers Water Trail
Join Rosie out on the Three Rivers Heritage Trail for a Tuesday morning workday. Volunteers will work on invasive plant management, including cutting invasive vines from trees, weeding, as well as litter pick-up along the trail and riverfront. COVID-19 safety protocols are in effect. Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own tools (ex. loppers and pruners) and gloves, but we can provide these if you don’t have them. Please wear sturdy shoes and long pants. No flip flops or sandals are permitted. Bring enough water with you for the entire workday.
Friends of the Riverfront is a nonprofit organization dedicated to building, maintaining, and stewarding safe, clean, and accessible trails as a part of the Three Rivers Heritage Trail system to create an outstanding experience for all trail users while providing economic, environmental, and health benefits to the Pittsburgh region.
