Uplifting music-from old school funk, to world music, to current dance & pop hits are inte First Wednesdays of Every Month 7:00 -8:00 pm EST | In-person @ CSL - only Soul Dance is an ecstatic, free-form dance event. Uplifting music-from old school funk, to world music, to current dance & pop hits are interspersed with spiritual interludes and brief exercises to assist you to let go and experience Spirit dancing you. Go in deep in the beginning moving meditation, let go into joy as you dance to uplifting dance tunes & then relax into pure bliss in the ending blessing. Your outer movement becomes a conduit to inner awareness so that your dance becomes a prayer done with body, mind, heart, and soul. As this is a dance between you and Spirit - please no drugs or alcohol before or during the event. DRESS: You might want to wear clothes easy to move in and socks or dance shoes. You will be dancing on carpet. Folks wear everything from jeans, to dance, yoga, or workout wear to fancy going out dancing clothes to costumes. You will fit in whatever you wear.
