Press release from the City of Brockton: 2021-07-26 DETOUR NOTICE Please be advised that there will be GRINDING of the following street: HOVENDEN AVE. FROM WINTER STREET TO ELSIE ROAD  Work to begin on TUESDAY, JULY 27, 2021 IMPORTANT Sections of Hovenden Ave will be detoured or closed to traffic at different times thru the duration of the Project. Detours for these streets will be set in the field by the Brockton Police Department and a Resident Engineer will be available on site. This project is expected to take several weeks to be completed, weather permitting. ****Please seek alternate routes during this period to avoid delays and prevent vehicle damages as the roadway will be under construction for several weeks.**** We are sorry for the inconvenience.
