Volunteer Organizations Active in Disasters is open to all faith and community-based organizations that serve Pinellas County. Pinellas County is rich in resources and we can best prepare for disasters by working together, sharing information and building a structure that will allow our community to respond in any disaster. Meetings are held the fourth Tuesday of each month, from 9 - 11:30 a.m. at the Pinellas County Emergency Operations Center, in the Public Safety Complex at 10750 Ulmerton Road in Largo. WHEN YOU ARRIVE: There is ample parking in front of the Public Safety Complex. Please enter the Main Entrance to the Sheriff's Administration Building. This is a secure facility. You will be asked to go through a metal detector and be escorted to the Emergency Operations Center. (Please Note: You do not need to print out the ticket to this meeting.)
