This is a hands-on shooting/editing experience with Phil Roc Photography, one of the top specialists in flour photography for dance/gymnasts
I'm incredibly excited to host Phil Roccuzzo in a really unique and exciting photography workshop.
As you will see in the images below, Phil is an expert in flour photography with dancers and gymnasts. This is an incredibly unique/specialized look, and Phil is going to share all his secrets!
This workshop will include several different sections.
First, we'll be shooting (a lot!). We'll have a number of gymnasts and dancers at the studio throughout the course of the workshop. Phil will show how to set everything up, and how to capture the images.
Second, every participant will be shooting! You will put the theory into practice, and capture your own images.
Third, Phil is going to offer a primer on post-processing these images. In some cases, color flour is used to ceate the colorful photos you see. Other times, the colorization is done in Photoshop. Phil will show how both of these techniques work.
And lastly, he will be presenting a rundown of his marketing and social media strategy to find clients for his work in this specialized genre.
We don't have a specific end-time for this workshop, but we'll be starting at noon, and I suspect we will be at it for many hours.
Mark is a wedding, portrait and performing arts photographer based outside of Philadelphia, PA. The annual Fall Portrait Mini Sessions began in 2014, and traditionally the event sells out very quickly!
