Laborer Apprentice / Driver for Residential Construction

Lewis Construction Group is a residential general contractor seeking a full-time Laborer Apprentice/Driver to join our team and be in a position to assist with daily project needs as listed below. Our projects are located primarily in Seattle Proper. Work duties will include everything from demolition, clean-up, material handling, to final punch list working hand in hand with Company Carpenters. Picking-up materials, delivering to jobsites, and debris hauling are large components of this position. Therefore, a clean driving record is mandatory and will be verified before hire. Qualifications/Duties: • Follow directions and performs tasks as directed • Maintain a professional appearance and positive presence • Punctuality • Attention to safety • Prefers the physical nature of construction • 2+ years Construction experience desired • Working knowledge of power tools preferred • Ability to safely tow/operate a 10’ trailer • Ability to operate Company dump truck (CDL not required) • Job site organization and cleaning • Tool maintenance Must provide: • Washington State Driver’s License and clean driving record is required • Dependable transportation to get to job sites and travel between jobs • Basic hand tools to get started • Proof of eligibility to work in the US Background check and driving record verified. Our job sites are 100% tobacco and drug free. Medical/Dental/Vision benefits provided 60 days after employment. Company pays 75%. Simple IRA with 3% match after one year. Paid holidays.
