NEWTOWN, CT — Newtown continues to seek volunteers to fill vacancies on a few commissions and committees, according to First Selectman Daniel Rosenthal. In recent weeks, Rosenthal has announced vacancies on the following boards: The Economic & Development Commission has a vacancy available to a Republican or unaffiliated voter. Resumes due by August 13.The Inland Wetland Commission has a vacancy available to a Republican or unaffiliated voter. The Pension Committee has a vacancy available to a Republican or unaffiliated voter. Any interested party can send a letter of interest and a resume to [email protected]
