Help us plant flowers and shrubs at our Bird Watchers Garden with the Manistique Community Treehouse Center! Detroit Audubon partnered with the Manistique Community Treehouse Center from the Jefferson Chalmers community last fall to create a Bird Watchers Garden on two lots in their neighborhood. After a fall clean up event with volunteers and community members, MCTC was able to secure funding to make their dream a reality! We purchased hundreds of plants and we need A LOT of volunteers to help us get everything in the ground. If possible please bring a shovel or trowel and work gloves if you would like them.
