FOUND turtle/tortoise in WALLINGFORD

Hi all! I found a turtle/tortoise crossing the road on 1st AVE NE off of N 40th St in Wallingford yesterday. If you lost one recently, we may have them! We have basic care set up for them and they're safe. They're very social and in impeccable shape so I know they have a home somewhere. It is not a wild animal from my understanding of habitat, temperament, general health and breed. While I'm aware if it's a turtle or a tortoise and the breed it is, I am keeping that info to myself. Since these pets, generally, look alike and cannot really show excitement in seeing their humans, I want to give the owners their best chance in me not accidentally giving this buddy away to the wrong people!
