SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus Police, and unedited by Patch: At 7:05 a.m. on July 19, Secaucus Police responded to the area of 225 Meadowlands Parkway on a report of a suspicious man walking near the area of the train tracks. Police said they found him to have crystal meth on him. During the investigation, the police arrested a 36-year-old male, Dyquawn Thompson of Jersey City, NJ for one outstanding warrant issued out of Passaic, NJ in the amount of $350, one outstanding warrant issued out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $2,500 with a 10% option, one outstanding warrant issued out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $150, one outstanding warrant issued out of East Orange, NJ in the amount of $750 with a 10% option, one outstanding warrant issued out of South Hackensack, NJ in the amount of $500 with a 10% option and one outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $100.00 with a 10% option. Thompson was also charged with Possession of CDS believed to be Crystal Methamphetamine [2C:35-10A(1)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. Thompson was served his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail. At 8:55 a.m. on July 19, Secaucus Police observed a suspicious vehicle parked in the parking lot of the Rodeway Inn located at 155 Route 3 East. During the investigation, the police arrested a 34-year-old female, Armisha Taylor of Bayonne, NJ for one outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $100. Taylor was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was released from police custody. At 2:33 a.m. on July 23, Secaucus Police responded to the Closter Police Department to take into custody a 30-year-old male, Kelvin Ceballos-Bencosme of Paterson, NJ for one outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $200. Ceballos-Bencosme was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was released from police custody. At 2:45 a.m. on July 24, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 42-year-old male, Jeremy Rivera of Elmsford, NY for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. Rivera was served his motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with an additional five motor vehicle summonses and he was released into the custody of a responsible adult. At 5:31 p.m. on July 24, Secaucus Police responded to CVS located at 101 Plaza Centre Road on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 37-year-old female, Esmaralda Simmons of New York, NY for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(2)] and Hindering Apprehension [2C:29-3B(4)] for providing false information to law enforcement. Simmons was served her complaint summons and was released from police custody. At 8:46 p.m. on July 24, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 22-year-old male, Junior Perez-Santos of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $200. Perez-Santos was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued five motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody. At 2:12 a.m. on July 25, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 34-year-old male, Adrian Pizarro-Vega of Union City, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. Mr. Pizarro-Vega was served his motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with an additional three motor vehicle summonses and he was released into the custody of a responsible adult.
