PRINCETON, NJ — Ocean State Job Lot (OSJL), a discount retail chain is all set to open a new location at Nassau Park Pavilion, Princeton.
The company recently purchased the now-shuttered Walmart building at 101 Nassau Park Boulevard, Princeton. Walmart closed its only Princeton location in August 2020 due to declining performance.

This is OSJL's seventh location in New Jersey and is set to open by the end of 2021. The store is technically located in West Windsor, just off Route 1.
"We are so pleased to add another Ocean State Job Lot store in New Jersey," Paul Cox, Director of Store Operations for Ocean State Job Lot said in a media statement.
"The company is committed to continued expansion and growth throughout the Northeast and we hope to continue adding additional locations throughout the Garden State, creating jobs in the community and offering excellent value for shoppers."
According to a media release, the 136,622 sq. foot location will be divided into two retail spaces — 47,440 square feet will be dedicated to OSJL and the remaining 89,182 square feet will be leased.
The discount retail chain with 146 store locations across the country and has stores operating in Franklin Park, South Plainfield, Deptford, Clinton, and Sparta.
