Planning Underway For Northwest Arvada Subarea

ARVADA, CO — Arvada officials are planning the development of a northwest city corridor, and a community open house is scheduled for Thursday to offer an overview of the goals for the plan and policies. The plan focuses on the area east of Highway 93 to Gladiola Street, which includes the Indiana Street corridor between the railroad tracks on the south and the city boundary on the north. The community open house is scheduled to run from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday at the Whisper Creek Police Station Community Room, 14360 W. 89th Drive. The plan is among several for city subareas that are zoned for mixed-use development. Other mixed use development plans underway: New Town Sub-Area Plan The New Town Sub-Area is generally defined as the areas along Wadsworth Boulevard and Bypass between the G Line tracks on the north and Interstate 70 on the south.
