CONCORD, NH — It has been a hazy day in the Granite State with a return to a bit of muggy weather — and more of that smoke from the western part of the state mucking up our clear blue skies. Here is everything going on in New Hampshire right now: Moratoriums To End In August The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention moratorium on evictions is slated to end this week. The state of New Hampshire has been working with renters and landlords for many months in an effort to stem off a massive exodus of apartment dwellers from homes who have been out of work. As WMUR-TV noted on Monday, there have been some glitches in programs but there are also other people trying to help everyone, too. Airport Lands Grant To Promo New Airline A big to-do was made about Spirit Airlines bringing low-cost fares to the Manchester-Boston Regional Airport last month. And now, the airport has lined up some marketing cash, to assist with promotion, according to the New Hampshire Union Leader. The federal government is giving the airport $450,000 to market the new airline — the first in nearly two decades to come to the airport. NH Immunization Freedom Bill Signed According to the Associated Press, Gov. Chris Sununu has signed a medical freedom immunization bill that will keep public facilities, services, and others from being able to require people to be immunized before rendering services. Exceptions include county nursing homes and the state psychiatric hospital. The law, the report stated, does not supersede another state law that allows children to attend school without being vaccinated. Update: Integra Car Wash Theft Earlier this month, Concord NH Patch reported about the $500 reward after the Integra Car Wash on Integra Drive was burglarized. Well, the car wash business in the eastern part of the city was hit again last week.
